After a long break!

I can’t even remember the last time I blogged! But anyway, here I am again! Back home after the last tour with the Sleepercar guys and trying hard to find work. Have worked a little, but not as much as i need to. Creatively I have been busy writing music for my new musical endeavor. It’s called NoDeathbyWater and its made up of me and the very nice and energetic members of Ralpheene. An El Paso band that I really like. I approached them a while back about having them play some songs that I had written and they have been super patient and supportive of the whole project. It’s been hard at times to keep the engine running on this project since i have been on tour a lot, but they have met me halfway and we are almost ready to play our first show! Nervous and excited about that! I haven’t played with a new band of my own in a while so I am anxious and willing to shake the cobwebs off and get back to it!

I realized a couple days ago that my life has been in a constant stream of change for about a year now. I cant even spell derection!

Anyways, here are some pics from the last tour and some from the previous. Last tour took us up the west coast supporting Centromatic and then ourselves in Canada. How I love that beautiful country!

The tour before had us on the other side of the country with the Old 97’s, but I think I did blog aboutthat. I don’t know what’s going on with this blog. On this tour we got to share the stage with….. get ready…..THE STOOGES!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah… a bunch of other bands too… like….. oh yeah! Cat Power, the Killers! awesome show!

This is a couple in Montreal at the Osheaga festival enjoying the view and there company.

This is us with the Old 97’s on the last day of tour with these great guys. And this great lady! Kelly!!

We all felt a little inadequate after this trip to a Revolutionary battlefield.

But before that… we went sailing! It was so cool! The ship, the crew, the captain, and of course, the good time had by all. I think.

And then we flew over the pond and stopped at Stonehenge! Or maybe it was a Rae Dawn Chong movie set? Can’t really remember.
